Harry Styles Drives a Jaguar E-Type

Just like the boy band phenomenon never seems to die, so too does the love for classic British motors endure on. We say “just like”, but there’s really nothing that bad about liking the classic E-Type.

This iconic drop-top is 50 years old now, but the styling is iconic. We’d even go as far as to say it’s emblematic for sportscars of that era. Jaguar knows this and is bringing back the roadster in the for of a modern day successor, the F-Type.

Even though he’s only eighteen year old, Harry Styles from British-Irish boy band One Direction has added one of these classic motors to his car collection. Judging by this photo, the E-Type is a Series 2 model, built between 1969 and 1971.

Unlike the Series 1, this had open headlights without glass covers and better cooling for the L6 engine thanks to a larger mouth and twin fans.
