Both Walt Disney Studious and the actor’s fans sure missed him lately, considering the March airplane crash put a hold to Harrison Ford’s promoting tours. After all, the 72-year-old Hollywood icon is reprising one of the lead roles in the upcoming seventh installment of the famous epic space opera. Seeing the actor driving around town with his Tesla Model S is good news, and it means he recovered quite well.
Ford was piloting his World War 2 Ryan PT-22 Recruit fighter plane in March when something went wrong shortly after lift off. He was forced to emergency land into Penman golf course Venice, California. His experience with flying personal aircraft helped him lower the intensity of the crash, landing safely, but hard.
The Star Wars actor broke his pelvis and ankle and suffered severe lacerations to his head in the accident, but now seems to have completely recovered since he was seen driving. He did, however, spend three weeks in the hospital in Los Angeles before returning to continue his recovery at home.
The Indiana Jones star may have missed last month’s fan convention in Anaheim, where a new trailer was unveiled for the long awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but we should expect him back on track shortly.
It’s good to see Harrison Ford back on his feet, but it makes us even happier to see he likes to remain a good example to younger generations who sure turned him into an idol. After all, that is one of the ways Elon Musk is trying to sell his EVs, having A-list celebrities driving the Tesla Model S.
