It was less than six months ago the Indiana Jones star was involved in a scary aircraft accident while flying his two-seater fighter. Luckily, he was skilled enough to conduct an emergency landing and escape with a broken pelvis and head injuries. Now that he’s back on his feet, Harrison Ford is also back at his old habits.
No, rest assure, we’re not referring to flying. It may be Harrison Ford’s passion, but he has other hobbies too, such as driving classic cars. And this beauty, my dear petrolheads, is not just any car; it’s British automotive spirit at its finest. Just look at those curves, it’s a dream,

Sure, us Earthlings, call it Jaguar XK140, a sportscar manufactured between 1954 and 1957. It’s the successor of the XK120, a marvel indeed. As opposed to its predecessor, this bad boy comes with more interior space, improved brakes, rack and pinion steering, increased suspension travel, and telescopic shock absorbers instead of the older lever arm design.

If our automotive history book tells the truth, the XK140 was powered by the Jaguar XK engine with the Special Equipment modifications from the XK120. We’re looking at a total output of 190 bhp gross at 5500 rpm, as standard. Sure, the pretentious customers could also opt for the optional C-Type cylinder head, carried over from the XK120 catalogue, and producing 210 bhp gross at 5750 rpm.

Getting back to Harrison Ford, it's safe to say the 73-year-old Hollywood icon looked quite relaxed while rolling around Beverly Hills. Photogs were there, as usual, to capture the actor’s every move, but by the looks of it the Star Wars star couldn’t care less.

Let’s face it, stopping at a petrol station to refuel a classic Jaguar is such a great experience you don’t need anything else to make for a good day. The Tesla Model S Ford also owns may be green and fast, but nothing compares to a vintage convertible.
