Here's a new ladies' lid for the Milwaukee fans: the Harley-Davidson Women’s Enthusiast Helmet. The Enthusiast is a half helmet with a half-face flip-up shield, fresh in the H-D MotorClothes line and it retails for $150 (€115).
Now, being honest, for this money, one can get some better headgear, especially if looking at the closeouts segments or so. However, if you feel you'd enjoy your ride so much more if wearing H-D branded items, then it's definitely a go.
The Harley-Davidson Women’s Enthusiast helmet weighs in at 2 lbs 3 oz (992 grams) and this makes it easy to wear, even by the most delicate of female riders. The visor could have been a bit longer for a better face covering, however.
The Enthusiast also comes with a generous tinted visor for some extra protection against the sun. Judging by the looks of it, this additional visor will cause quite a lot of unpleasant noise at high speed, so the fact that it is removable is quite nice.
Available in XS to XL sizes, the Harley-Davidson Women’s Enthusiast comes with a detachable and washable liner, a zipped neck curtain and double D-ring locking. It may be produced by AGV, or at least that's what we understand from Harley-Davidson themselves.
