Again, on Harley-Davidson and India, it looks like the Milwaukee bike manufacturer has solid plans for this new market, as the latest news seem to show. So here we go, with the first Harley Owners Group (HOG) rally ever to be held in Goa from January 31st to February 1st.
This even kicks off the 2013 Harley-Davidson celebrations linked to their 110th anniversary. With a lot of spectacular H-D events announced around the world, it's going to be a very interesting year. With further and deeper involvement in India's motorcycle industry, Harley-Davidson are also sponsoring the 2013 India Bike Week rally to take place February 2-3 in Goa, too.
You can figure out for yourselves the massive exposure Harley-Davidson is going to have with these two events almost linked together. Well, H-D would better do whatever they can if they want to make it big in Goa, as their bikes are quite expensive for the Indian market and we see no huge crowds of customers rushing in to buy $15,000 bikes any time soon.
And yes, we're so looking forward to see the new, small choppers H-D prepares for India.
