Good news for the owners of 2004 and up Harley-Davidson Sportsters and those who plan to get a new Sportster: H-D has just extended their Custom Seat Program to these bikes. This program was so far reserved to Touring, Softail and Dyna bikes, but 2013 is an anniversary year, isn't it?
This means the Sportsters get two new basic seat designs, a solo and a two-up one, named Brawler and Sidekick, respectively. Each of these seats can be customized with custom stitching and inlay color. There are around 1300 combinations which can be obtained for these cowhide seats, and the streamlined web application is predictable and extremely easy to use.

Users can choose between 13 stitching patters in 10 thread colors, while inlays can be in embossed leather with ostrich, alligator or snakeskin textures, also in various colors. Once they decided upon a design, they can place the order with one of the participating dealers and they'll receive it in a few weeks.

The Brawler is $399.95 (€305), while the Sidekick retails for $499.95 (€382). For more details and some design play, check out the H-D Custom Seat site.
