Harley-Davidson "Panda Glide" Is a Full Custom 30-inch Monster

For certain people, a 2011 Harley-Davidson Road Glide is perfect just the way it comes from the factory. However, others prefer to take the machine down the customization route. And, as you've probably guessed by now, we are here to discuss the latter case.

The Road Glide that now occupies our screens was brought to its current sculpted form by TOL Designs, a Las Vegas shop that handles such conversions on a daily basis. As such, this Black and White toy features the said label's custom hardware, while the shop obviously also handled the installation.

To be more precise, the company's Pimp Slab Body Kit now adorns the Harley, while the seat also comes in custom form. The visual approach chose for the pieces that makes up this kit simply can’t be ignored and while each unit has “custom” spelled all over it, the mix seems to be even greater than the sum of its parts. In fact, this is why the project landed among our Two-Wheeler Month stories.

Zooming in further, the front wheel is now a monstrous 30-inch unit, so it received a fender to match. Keep in mind the wheel is connected to the rest of the bike via air suspension. So, despite the not-exactly-generous tire, there's no need to worry about the smoothness of this motorcycle's ride.

Now, this Harley-Davidson Road Glide comes with a special story - this isn't your typical lone wolf build. Instead, the project was completed by a father and son, "in honor of a mother and wife", as the said shop explains in the Instagram post at the bottom of the page.

The project was completed back in April, so here's to hoping this is eating up some miles as you are reading this, allowing both its rider and those around to enjoy the bespoke lines of the Harley.
