In recent years, the way in which fundraising campaigns are done changed thanks to the arrival of platforms that offer the chance of getting your hands on incredible machines, provided to donate a certain amount of $. Unlike the usual sweepstakes or lotteries, these platforms not only give you a tangible prize (say a car or a motorcycle), but also some experiences you are likely never to forget.
For instance, how many of you Harley-Davidson fans out there can say are familiar with the bike maker’s headquarters first hand, having visited it? Probably not many, and the ones that did probably paid a a lot more than just $10.

This is the minimum amount that can be paid for an ending Omaze campaign. Do that, and you get the chance of winning a brand new Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide, and a trip for two at the company’s headquarters.

The bike itself, custom-handled by Harley itself, will come in one of three colors (final one to be decided at a later date), and will feature custom graphics, Fugitive wheels, illuminated center console, infotainment system with 4 speakers, and Bluetooth.

The bike is powered by the line’s Milwaukee-Eight 117ci good for 98 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque.

The trip itself includes a flight to Milwaukee, the rental of motorcycles from EagleRider (the CVO the winner gets will arrive after the trip, so going there on two wheels is not possible), and a guided tour of the Harley facilities. Also, hotel and the bike’s taxes and shipping costs are included in the win.

All the money raised by Omaze through this campaign will go to Team Rubicon, a group in the business of mobilizing veterans to help people prepare for disasters. In this case, the money will support the group’s efforts to fight the ongoing health crisis.

At the time of this writing, there are 7 days left in the campaign.
