Licensed Harley-Davidson artist David Uhl revealed his newest artwork dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Milwaukee manufacturer. In coordination with the Vatican, Uhl has painted the "Chance Encounter" canvas which depicts an old Harley-Davidson bike parked in the San Pietro square, with a priest admiring it.
The machine is an 1948 FL Panhead, according to Cyril Huze, and will be featured in several options. The most popular will most likely be the postcard format, which will be printed in a limited run on 50,000 copies for the H-D celebrations to be held in Rome this year. Priced at $19.50 (€15)
For collectors, David Uhl's "Chance Encounter" will also be available in three hand-signed and numbered canvas Fine Art sizes, sold at "Show Special" prices through the end of the Rome event, on June 16th.
