For the past 75 years, Jeep has been mostly known for its iconic cars, such as the Willys, Wrangler, Comanche or the Cherokee. Now, to mark its diamond anniversary, the American company is building 75th Anniversary special edition models of each vehicle in its range.
The special edition models will be available in Jeep-exclusive Sarge Green, Recon Green or Jungle Green exterior paint, depending on the model, with Low Gloss Bronze wheels, Bronze and Orange exterior accents, unique interiors with embossed 75th Anniversary logo or a unique Ombre Mesh fabric, and a distinctive exterior badge as a tribute to this special event.

Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand- FCA Global, stated that “Jeep vehicles have defined the authentic SUV and set the benchmark for off-road capability and freedom since they were first produced in 1941,” adding that “Today Jeep SUVs continue to deliver 4x4 leadership, as well as fuel efficiency, world-class craftsmanship and premium on-road dynamics.”

The Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary edition will feature 17-inch wheels, front and rear tow hooks, Jeep badge and unique front and rear steel bumpers, all painted in Low Gloss Bronze.

This unique version will also have power dome hood with functional air vents, leather-trimmed leather seats with sport accent inserts and stitching, one-of-a-kind off-road rock rails, available rear locker and a 6.5-inch touchscreen radio with Uconnect handsfree phone and SiriusXM Radio. The suggested starting retail price is $34,575 or $38,375 for the four-door Unlimited models, plus $995 destination charge.

The Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary starts at $36,775 for 4x4 models plus $995 destination, and it features all-new, unique front fascia, grille and headlamps, exclusive 18 and 20-inch wheels, tow hooks, grille rings, fog lamp bezels, roof rail and badges, colored in Low Gloss Bronze. The interior also brings some new goodies such as Gode-Tex seat cloth insert or leather-trimmed heated seats with embossed anniversary logo, Gloss Black painted body accents, power sunroof, Blind-spot monitoring and an 8.4-inch Uconnect radio.

The Jeep Cherokee special edition model features 18-inch wheels, badges and trim accents painted in Low Gloss Bronze, new Gode-Tex seat insert cloth with Tangerine accent stitching, dual-pane sunroof and an 8.4-inch touchscreen radio. The anniversary model has a starting price of $29,875 for 4x4 models, plus $995 destination.

The Jeep Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition sits on 18-inch wheels and has the grille surrounds, fog lamp bezels, roof rack, tail lamp applique, rear fascia and other elements painted in Low Gloss Bronze, Beats Audio System, and MySky open-air roof system.

The next in line is the 2016 Compass special edition, which also has elements painted in Low Gloss Bronze, a Light Bronze interior bezel color, power sunroof, remote start, leather-wrapped steering wheel and is powered by a 2.4-liter engine linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. The starting price is set at $24,475 plus $995 destination.

Last but not least, the 2016 Jeep Patriot 75th Anniversary Edition, whose price starts at $22,475 plus $995 destination, is the cheapest of them all. For this price, you still get 17-inch wheels, roof rails and other elements painted in the same Low Gloss Bronze, with Light Bronze interior, power sunroof, remote start, leather-wrapped steering wheel and also the 2.4-liter engine, just like the Compass.

Each model will be available in Jeep dealerships in the first quarter of 2016.
