Hannspree to Sponsor Michael Jordan Motorsports

Michael Jordan Motorsports (MJM), founded by NBA star Michael Jordan in 2004, has recently welcomed a new sponsor to the family: Hannspree, who comes as the official TV provider. Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, and with offices and stores across the world, Hannspree Inc. produces creative audiovisual products using innovative design, technology, and production practices.

As one of the top-ranked teams competing in the American Superbike class of AMA Pro Racing, MJM will showcase Hannspree’s products at its races, hold contests and make use of Hannspree’s game-changing 28” HD LCD Basketball Televisions, in addition to their other TVs and Windows 7 powered NetBooks.

The Michael Jordan Motorsports team first unveiled the partnership last weekend at the fifth round of the AMA Superbike Championship at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Hannspree did not regret its presence there as world-class rider Ben Bostrom scored the team’s first podium of 2011, with a 2nd place finish.

“At Hannspree we’re re-writing the idea of what TVs can be. All of us at Hannspree USA see the same creativity and energy in the Michael Jordan Motorsports team and we absolutely believe in every team member as a positive ambassador of our product and in their passion,” Jon Bekefy, Hannspree’s Marketing Manager said.
