Hamilton Wins Hungarian GP

Hamilton grabs his second win of the season, thanks in no small part to an excellent qualifying run which put him at the front of the pack. However, his job was not an easy one, as Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean put pressure on him right from the start.

As the race started, Grosjean kept pressuring Hamilton, but the Brit maintained the situation under control, and pitting for fresh tires only seemed to make the Frenchman more aggressive. However, on lap 45, the order at the top of the pack changed, as Raikkonen passed his French colleague, sneaking into second place.

The race was really close in the end, as there was only one second in it between Hamilton and Raikkonen. Trailing the two, Romain Grosjean finished third, followed by Vettel in fourth, Fernando Alonso in fifth, with Jenson Button coming sixth, followed by Bruno Senna, Mark Webber, Felipe Massa and Nico Rosberg.

Despite not winning, Alonso is still first, with 164 points, followed by Mark Webber with 124 points and Sebastian Vettel with 122, while in the constructors’ championship, Red Bull leads with 246 points, with McLaren coming second with only 193 points.
