Hamilton Vs Schumacher at Valencia

With Michael Schumacher confirming he'll make his F1 return soon, we'll finally have the opportunity to see an exciting on-track battle between the 7-time world champion and the reigning F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

The “What Ifs?” peppered throughout Bernie Ecclestone's comments in the past two years when referring to a potential Michael Schumacher – Lewis Hamilton clash will finally be answered, and the McLaren driver is simply ecstatic of this prospect. Given his re-loading performance in Hungary the other weekend, Ham now waits to finally have a go at Schu for a race win.

I am excited by the possibility of Michael Schumacher's return to Formula 1 assuming it happens, but my thoughts are still with Felipe and his family following his terrible accident in Hungary,” said Hamilton in an interview with the BBC.

Michael is one of the sport's greatest competitors and a legend in his own right and it would be great to compete against him. The whole world will be watching his return to the cockpit in Valencia and it will not only be fascinating to see how he readies himself for his grand prix comeback but also an honor and a privilege to race against him for the very first time. I wish him well,” added the 24-year old Brit.

Schumacher, who hasn't driven a Formula One car in over a year, is set to making his very debut on the Valencia street circuit, while also race for the first time in Ferrari's 2009 challenger. The German is currently undergoing a fitness programme aimed at readying him for the European GP and is yet to submit for a new FIA super license.
