Hamilton Orders 5.6M Euro Sunseeker 90 Luxury Yacht

Lewis Hamilton might have to work a little bit more on his relationship with the McLaren MP4-24 ahead of the season opener in Australia – having crashed into a tire barrier on Thursday, during the Jerez testing – but that should not interfere with his money-spending policy this spring.

Following the incredible £70 million deal signed by the reigning F1 champion with McLaren Mercedes – as reported by British tabloid The Sun – Hamilton is now looking on ways to spend it. And, according to the aforementioned source, the British ace is very close to getting his very own Sunseeker 90 yacht.

As unveiled by the British tabloid, work on a personalized color scheme of the £4 million yacht – approximately 5.6 million euros – is currently under way in Dorset, United Kingdom, headquarter of Sunseeker International company. After the work on the yacht is finalized, it will be transported to Monaco, where Hamilton plans to park his brand new “toy”.

The yacht has its own living room, a bar, three plasma TVs and two double bedrooms and initially caught Lewis' eye during the London Yacht Show in mid-January. Although a spokesmen for Hamilton then denied the rumors, insisting the 23-year old champ was at the Show just looking around with some friends, it seems his black-and-silver yacht is already to be used by the young Brit in short time.

Sunseeker International is a British luxury motor yacht manufacturer that has been building motoryachts since the late 1970s (1979).
