Hamilton Denies Breaking Up with Nicole

Lewis Hamilton denied the recent reports in the British media that he and Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger broke up prior to the Italian Grand Prix. Talking to the Italian media shortly before the Sunday race, the 24-year old Brit insisted that he and Scherzinger are still a couple.

“That is bull****. We are still together,” Hamilton was quoted as saying to the Italian media, as sourced in planetf1.com.

Soon after the Monza race yesterday, a media report in the British newspaper Sunday Mirror showed that the two broke up and, as a result, Scherzinger will not be attending her planned F1 Rocks event two weekends from now. The event is to debut at Singapore, with the Pussycat Doll initially scheduled to be the host.

The same source cited by the aforementioned publication added that “the last thing Nicole wanted to be doing is anything to do with formula one now – so she immediately pulled out of F1 Rocks.” It appears the two allegedly broke up due to the pressure put by Nicole on Ham's shoulders to get married and start a family.

While Hamilton is only 24, Nicole is in her early 30s (31). The two stars have been dating for the past 2 years, with Scherzinger becoming a constant presence in the F1 paddock this year. The pop singer has joined Hamilton at almost all F1 events this year, but was nowhere to be seen during the Italian GP at Monza.
