Hamann's Weekend Wheels for BMW and Maserati

Hamann probably saw Star Wars last weekend and thought they should deliver Darth Vader's wheels. Draconic, eye-catching black rims are fitted on the BMW 7 series making it the perfect funeral car.

The same goes for the Maserati GranTurismo. 21 inch black rims make it look sportier, but not any better. Black on black simply doesn't suit this great GT car. A bigger engine maybe, but not the wheels.

The German tuner calls these the EDITION RACE wheels, partly because you will probably want to take your other set of rims to your Sunday track day. These ones are just for showing off and you wouldn't want to scratch them when you get off the track at a million miles per hour.

Moving on to the BMW, they've created a nice look for a not so nice car. The wheels look great, they've even put a little piercing between each spoke, to make it special, and cool for nightclub getaway cars.

Matches the character of the Beemer perfectly. The last 7 series and this one are all about controversy. Odd angles, weird headlights, sporty design on a limo, and many other things make it a bit pointless. It is only when you lay back and see the whole picture, that you realize the brilliance. This is a car made for the alien lover, a bit like that Steven Tyler bloke. He's ugly as hell, but a true sex symbol.

What Hamann did, was fit it with racing style wheels and a bit of bling at the back. On any other luxury saloon it would have looked a bit cross-eyed. But not on this one.
