It was in March 2013 that we watched the (then) brand new Range Rover SUV transform itself into the Hamann Mystere. And because the Geneva Motor Show was packed with some really exciting cars (Ferraris, Lambos, that sort of thing), the German tuners decided to cover everything up in chrome pink. At the time, we compared it to Nicki Minaj's Lamborghini and Paris Hilton's Bentley GT coupe. It was really cool, but a bit overdone.
Fast forward to summer of 2014 and they're at it again, this time combining the Mystere body kit with the more subtle shade of gloss black. The custom kit has definitely grown on us, this time being applied to the 5.0 V8 SC Autobiography model in combination with Forged “Anodized” wheels.
The entire kit is made from carbon fiber and starts off with a hood and wings, which extend the body of the Range Rover outwards, exuding aggression. It also includes new front apron, side skirts, beefier rear wings, as well as eight individual door ornaments. Around the back, the ingredients that make the Hamann Range Rover include massive extensions for the rear fenders, a fuel tank cap, diffuser rear bumper and custom exhaust system with anodized tips. Hamann can add electronic lowering module that brings it 40 mm closer to the road.
