Hamann's stand at the Geneva Motor Show is all about showing that Sports Activity Coupes can be made even wider and more brutish. BMW's X4 and X6 M models are joined by the GLE 63 AMG, which brings an arsenal of carbon fiber parts.
Before Geneva, Hamann talked about how it can tune the F16 BMW X6 M50d from 381 PS and 740 Nm (545 lb-ft) all the way to 462 PS and 890 Nm (656 lb-ft) of torque. But this isn't one of those, as the blue brakes hint that we are dealing with the real M version.

Hamann has been doing the same thing to the X6 ever since the first generation came out. Massive fender flares, lowered suspension and 23-inch wheels. These changes make it impossible to go through deep snow or climb a curb, but the X6 attracts all the attention.

The GLE Coupe is a brand new member of the Sports Activity family, and Hamann made sure to welcome it accordingly. From the front, it's impossible to miss the carbon fiber hood with vents on either side of the new bumper's black diffuser elements. From the back, we see the obligatory trunk lid wing, quad exhaust, and extra ground effects.

Sitting alongside each other, the X6 and GLE Coupe look like they are having a muscle flexing competition. It's too bad that Geneva won't allow tuning firms to rev their mighty machines.

The Porshe Macan with custom exhaust we showed you a week ago is present and accounted for in Geneva. Its main competitor, the X4, gets wider fenders, a black bumper spoiler, new grille and big wheels. The wing on the back is decent, but most customers will want the custom exhaust system first. It fixes BMW's lack of a factory-fitted quad exhaust system and goes well with the entire "I'm pretending to be an M3" attitude.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
