Normally we don’t write about ‘normal’ cars but this time we had to make an exception. That’s because the following photos are too good to miss out on. As it turns out, the location they were taken in is special as well.
You see, the photographer travelled to Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, to snap them. Furthermore, he somehow managed to get two eternal rivals to pose together: a BMW M5 and an Audi RS7. They did absolutely brilliant in this endeavor.

The M5 however, is not stock. It was prepared by the guys from Hamann and is featuring their already world-famous Mi5sion body kit, possibly the ugliest ever made by the German tuner. Don’t get us wrong, we like most of it, but can’t stand the front fascia that makes the car look as if it’s frowning all the time.

On the other hand, the Audi looks rather stock but what unites these cars the most are the specs. Both of them feature twin-turbo V8s and the same amount of horsepower. However, the BMW has a slight advantage in displacement.

The Bimmer has a 4.4-liter engine making 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque in its stock guise. The Audi has a 4-liter one also making 560 HP, but more torque, being rated at 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). Furthermore, from a standing start, the RS7 would be faster thanks to its all-wheel drive setup: 3.9 seconds vs 4.4.

However, the M5 could be tuned by Hamann under the bonnet as well. That would put the power output up at 720 HP and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque plenty to take on an Audi. Until we get to know for sure, let’s check out these photos.
