Just after BMW released the new M4, Hamann got hold of one for research and development purposes. Working closely with BMW for a couple of decades they were amongst the first to get one. Today, we take a look at what they came up with.
The complete Hamann kit for the M4 was finally revealed and it’s looking stunning to say the least. Compared to the Mi5Sion kit for the F10 M5 and the Mirr6r one for the M6, this is miles away in elegance, style and overall looks.
You’ll soon notice that the Austin Yellow color of the M4 fits the Hamann kit and personality perfectly. That’s right, this time, it’s the color of the car that fits the tuner and not the tuner’s parts that fit the car. Somehow, they all blend it and look exquisite.
On the front bumper you’ll notice the German company added a large carbon fiber air splitter under it and added a set of gloss-black kidney grilles above it that match the color palette perfectly.
The hood was vented to allow the engine to release some of the heat it’s making easier, but to also make everything look a lot cooler. Come to think of it, it does remind us of the i8.
Round the back, the bumper received a new diffuser in between the tailpipes as well as a wing that seems a bit too much if you ask our opinion. That shouldn’t be a problem though, as nobody forces you to get it anyway.
On the wheels front, we already know the Hamann offering and this time, they do fit the profile perfectly, especially the EVO Hyper Black model with Austin Yellow lips you can see in the photos below.
Unfortunately, the pricing for all these goodies hasn’t been released yet. Furthermore, there’s no word about a possible engine remap for now but we’re sure we won’t have to wait too long for answers to these two questions.
