As I was looking for some info on the Hamann BMW X6 M Tycoon Evo M I stumbled upon a new section on the German tuner’s website. Maybe it’s just new for me but up until now I had no idea that you could actually buy the cars they are using for promotional purposes straight from the website.
As it turns out, you can and it’s not only Bimmers, even though they do dominate in the list that’s currently available. Right now you can also have your pick out of a couple of Range Rovers as well. The only problem is the pricing.
While the Hamann design might not be for everyone, it’s definitely disgusting in some cases. The F82 M4 looks ok and so do a couple of other cars that we’re sure are going to find a home pretty soon but some, like the most expensive one in the list, are definitely not cool.
The Range Rover Hamann Mystere costs €185,000 or $230,000 at today’s exchange rates and it’s definitely not for everyone. However, we do love what they did with the E92 M3 GTS though.
The GTS is a rare bird as it is. Finding a pristine one these days will take some serious research and yet, here we are, looking at one and stumbling upon it by accident.
Sure, it’s been tuned by Hamann but, fortunately, it was done in taste, keeping most of the car’s original design. Basically, all the company did was add a couple of aerodynamic pieces that don’t look bad at all.
The car is a 2010 model and has roughly 20 km (12 mi) on the clock. Furthermore, it comes with an Individual roof liner, carbon trims on the door panels, 19” Hamann wheels and a plethora of other options. It costs €149,500 including VAT but it might as well be worth it.
