Guy Gets 2017 Camaro ZL1, Tunes It to 750 HP and Does Monster Burnout

Theoretically, deliveries for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 haven't kicked off yet, but that's only for the brand spanking new 10-speed auto and the Convertible. However, manual Coupes have started ariving about two weeks ago. As it sometimes happens, aftermarket developers with the right connections get early access to these muscle animals and we're here to show you such an adventure.

The black ZL1 Coupe we're discussing today has spent... two weeks or less in factory standard form - you can't do anything with a mere 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, right?

The Chevy has been abducted by Houston House Of Power. The Texan developer, which, according to its Facebook description, has been in the gym business for fifteen years now, couldn't help but stay true to its name.

It's worth mentioning this car comes from a customer, as you'll be able to notice in the owner's Instagram posts below.

Returning to the tech work done to the vehicle, the LT4 V8 under the hood has been gifted with a complete exhaust system (headers included), a new cam profile, as well as the mandatory ECU remap.

Following the aftermarket work, this six-speed manual Camaro now delivers 691 hp and 737 lb-ft of twist - keep in mind these are the values at the rear wheels, which means the crank horsepower sits anywhere between 750 and 800 ponies.

And what better way to celebrate such an adventure if not by putting that modded 6.2-liter V8 to work with the help of a burnout?

You'll be able to check out both the dyno run and the tire-melting shenanigan of the ZL1 in the piece of footage below.

Those of you familiar with the ways of the U.S. aftermarket industry won't be surprised to find out the said tuner doesn't plan to stop here, so we should hear from the Camaro again.

And once more 2017 Camaro ZL1 owners start taking delivery of their cars (a move that will take place next Spring for the 10-speed auto and Convertible models), you can expect a wave of Hellcat-battling videos that will make burnouts like the one seen here appear normal.

Just arrived in Dallas with 5 on the odometer. Picking it up on Monday! #ZL1 #Camaro #chevrolet

Today I am thankful to @chuckstuning & @slapngap and the rest of the crew at Houston House of Power for putting my car together in about 48 hours. Headers, Exhaust, Pulleys, Cam, and baseline tune. Took them until 3AM one night but they got it done! Earned a customer for life. More to come next week. #staytuned
