Guy Driving Behind a Pickup That Was Dragging a Sofa Has Hilarious Monologue

If you've ever transported something outside of your vehicle - like on the roof bars or a big item in the bed of your pickup - you'll know the constant stress of not knowing whether that thing is still where it's supposed to.
One way of getting around this is to tie as many straps around it as you own, and remembering not to focus on just one axis but cover both of them. Otherwise, you risk getting your loadout loose when you either accelerate or brake, or swerve more forcefully left or right. Still, strapping stuff tightly isn't as easy as it may seem at first, and so you should ask for another opinion whenever possible.

A second method is to drive over short distances and constantly pulling over to check whether everything is OK. This can be pretty infuriating and, if you've got a longer distance to cover, it will quickly become tiring. Not to mention impossible to do once you enter a highway where parking places are few and far between.

This guy right here is guilty of failing at both these methods. He only has a regular-sized sofa loaded in his pickup truck, but he made the rookie mistake of leaving the tailgate open and not securing his load well enough. As a consequence, he's now going to have to buy a new sofa. Or, at least, half of it, if he can find somebody who did the same as him but with the other part.

But as funny as seeing something like this is, it's the thought process spoken out loud by the guy doing the filming that really makes this video special. "This should add to the value of your sofa," he begins. He then has an epiphany: "Better question is, why am I behind him?" Yes, that's a very good question indeed, my friend. Better yet, why are you still behind him even after realizing that it's not a particularly good idea?

Well, it's not like he can teleport out of there at will, but he barely finishes his thought when he spots a police car on the lane to the left. "This oughta be good. Hold on," he manages to squeeze out as he begins to laugh in anticipation. Well, I could spoil what happens next, but that would be wrong. And a lot un-funnier than actually watching the clip.
