Guy Annoying the Whole Neighborhood on His Quad Bike Gets Some Divine Justice

Whether it’s a plane, a car, a motorcycle, bicycle or a quad, learning tricks and mastering them is cool. It’s a proof that we don’t settle for what we know and always want to be able to do more things in better ways.
And, granted, once you can do something not a lot of other people can, you do feel tempted to display your skills with every opportunity that presents itself. It’s called showmanship and, to an extent, it’s not something to be ashamed of. We’ve done it since we were little and our parents had company over, and not much has changed in the years that followed.

But mistake the dosage and exaggerate even just a little, and you risk becoming a douche. The line between one and the other is so thin and hard to spot that you’re actually better off asking people now and then whether you’ve turned into a scumbag without even noticing it.

As a general rule of thumb, you can remember these two guidelines: it’s OK to practice your thing in a remote area or in a space specifically designed for that activity (like a skate park, for example, if skating is what you do); second, when in public, wait for other people to ask for a demonstration, don’t just assume everyone wants to be in awe of your masterfulness.

And even if some insist on you putting on a show, there are some other things to consider as well. Things like timing and location. Revving your engine in the middle of a residential neighborhood after sundown could get your house TPed or worse. And by “worse” we mean exactly what happened to this guy.

Admittedly, his quad bike donut skills are quite impressive. Still, knowing something is going to go wrong, you start to notice he’s perilously close to that side curb. Not only that, but with each revolution, he seems to creep towards it one inch at a time. After a few seconds, you know it’s coming, you just don’t know when.

Bang. He lowers his body on the quad’s seat, putting enough weight on the rear axle to gain more grip than before, and hits that raised curb, propelling the vehicle forward, which throws the amateur stunt man to the ground like an angry rodeo bull.

The man appears to have been doing this little demonstration of how to be an inconsiderate prick for his kid(s), as one of them can be heard screaming “dad!” once the floor has been hit. Or it could be “Dan,” in which case he might not have any kids and, hopefully, things could stay that way.

You can’t see it in this video, but I’m willing to bet there are a few totally unfriendly faces behind those curtains whose days just got a lot brighter after witnessing Dad (or Dan, the jury is still deliberating) end his routine with an asphalt head bang. These mean people trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon can be so envious of one’s skills...
