Gumpert Tornante New Teaser

From the super car, exotic car or hyper car point of view, the Geneva Auto Show that kicks off next week will be one to remember. We've already witnessed scores of models being confirmed for the first European auto show of the year, so one more can't hurt, can it? As we already reported, the Gumpert Tornante, the result of the collaboration between Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera and Gumpert, will be showing its face at the Swiss even. Unit it will do that, however, the model shows us the back in this second teaser released by its creator. The Tornante by Touring, as some call it, will draw all of its power from an Audi-sourced 4.2l bi-turbo V8, tweaked into developing 690 horsepower (about the same as the more anticipated Lamorghini Aventador LP700-4). When the model was first confirmed as an attendee of the Geneva show, Gumpert presented it as a new class of automobiles born for the extremely dynamic and fast voyage, the Fast Tourers. Adding what we know so far with what we have seen these past weeks (first teaser of the model can be seen at the following link), we tend to agree with that statement. Or, simply put, the Tornante presents itself as one beauty of a car, from both the back and the front. autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
