Gumpert Teases Tornante by Touring

The Gumpert Apollo is one of the fiercest hypercars on the planet, being able to leave many competitors in its dust and to offer an intoxicating mix of emotions to the driver. Knowing this, it’s easy to understand why we are so excited when talking about a new release from the German automotive producer.

Getting to the point, we’ll tell you that Gumpert has just released a teaser image for the Tornante by Touring model it will introduce at the Geneva Auto Show.

The image has been created in such a way that it generates the impression that we are seeing the four-wheeled creation in a dream. But what machine are we talking about exactly? Well, the Tornante by Touring isn’t as performance-obsessed as the Gumpert. Don’t get us wrong, the car should still offer a sky-levle of “go-fastness”, but it will do it in a more relaxed way, combining this with a GT attitude. As for the design, this is signed by Italian design house Touring Superleggera.

Let’s see how the automotive producer descries its creation: “The GUMPERT TORNANTE by TOURING opens a new class of automobiles born for the extremely dynamic and fast voyage, the Fast Tourers. The Tornante features the original Superleggera construction principle: composite body panels on a space frame with carbon fiber monocoque.”
