We all know about the way carmakers get involved in all sorts of marketing ventures that have mostly nothing to do with autos. Most of them have clothing collections they release at least two times a year. Every showcased issue usually takes inspiration from the company’s newest vehicle.
However, when you say Mercedes, BMW, Bugatti or mainly any of the big carmakers, there’s obviously a separate branch that will take care of the lifestyle issues of the company. In other words, good products often come out of these ventures.

Some people say that each person is supposed to stick to what he knows best. Then, you get those who argue that, claiming that the 21st century is all about blending things. It seems to be the case for rich folks who take the charge of organizing racing competitions too. Some are good at it while others aren't so much. Take the Gumball 3000 rally, for instance.

Cooper did a good job

Ever since the first race kicked off back in 1999, things only got bigger, louder and more opulent. We do have to admit, Maximillion Cooper did manage to do quite a great job since Gumball 3000 got to a point where everybody is talking about it. The best parties, the best DJs, the best cars, and so on.

Heck, there’s even a watch designed by Armin Strom especially for the event people can buy now. In fact, we just heard there’s a special outwear collection that is also available. The folks over at Gumball 3000 recently teamed up with the London-based photographer and filmmaker StayHvngry and shot a lookbook for their first drop of Spring/Summer 2015.

It shows the best offerings, things such as T-shirts and accessories sporting new graphics, colors, and materials. Sure, this also means some extra income for Maximillion, who is selling the issues on the Gumball 3000 website. No problem with that, of course.

We do find Lewis Hamilton’s decision to participate at the rally a bit too much, but that’s another discussion.
