Gumball 3000 2012: Why a Maseratti is Better than a Lamborghini

Lambos are a lot of fun, sure, so why not take one to the Gumball Rally? Apparently, this question has no answer, but, as it turns out, this year's edition of the Gumball 3000 brought us one, in the form of... a Maserati.
The adjacent clip, which comes from Youtube user Speedracer38, brings us his unpleasant experience: he is a Gumballer who was forced to leave the rally early and thus packed his bags in a rush. The man took his suitcase to the front of the car, only to discover that this didn't fit inside the tiny trunk of the Gallardo.

Thus, he dumped all his stuff into the nose of the V10-powered supercar and had to put the suitcase into another car, a Maserati, arranging to collect it next week, when the Gumball is over.

Our say: Ferrari wouldn't have expected to beat Lamborghini at the Gumball game in this way.

The 2012 Gumball Rally is taking participants on the following route: New York City (start, May 25th); Toronto, Canada (May 25th); Indianapolis (May 26th-27th); Kansas City (May 28th); Santa Fe (May 29th); Las Vegas (May 30th); Los Angeles (finish, May 31st).
