Gulf Livery Porsche 911 GT2 RS Is Not a Wrap, All Factory Paint

You're definitely not the olny ones who looked at this Porsche 911 GT2 RS and thought "what in the world is that wrap?". However, as mentioned in the title above, this Porscha has no piece of vynil on it. In fact, we're talking about a factory configuration here.
Oh, and here comes another question: "When turning to labels such as Porsche Exclusive Manufactur and CXX (custom tailoring options), isn't there a filter for extreme customer requests?"

Well, of course it is, but this Neunelfer got through since it stands for more than the sum of its Gulf Blue and Gulf Orange parts. And the clue is in the names of these hues, since we're talking about the famous Gulf livery here.

Gulf Orange is used to cover the exterior plastic elements that traditionally come in black, with the front splitter being on the list.

This Rennsport Neunelfer is fitted with the Weissach Package, which means we also get to see plenty of exposed carbon on the car, with this and the said play involving two strong hues generating a kind of unforgettable contrast.

As note by ptsrs, the social media-based Porsche registry that brought this 700 hp toy to our attention, the example has recently beed delivered to Saskatchewan, Canada, so readers from that part of the world should be prepared for the shock of meeting the thing in the metal.

Of course, this rolling Gulf Oil ad will split opinions like few other configurations out there and we can even include aftermarket specs here.

In fact, this 991.2 GT2 RS now grabs the title of the wildest Neunelfer factory spec we've featured from that one-wheel-one-color GT3. And there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, since both are 991.2 model for which Gulf Blue is the main color.

A PTSRS Exclusive: Presenting a very unique PTS Gulf Blue (328) 991 GT2 RS with Weissach Package from the capital of Saskatchewan in Canada. Yes, everything you see here is factory original. The central theme of this spec are the painted elements in Gulf Orange. In fact, the historic color covers all the typically black plastic trims on the exterior, including the front splitter, lower air intake surrounds, side skirts, and the entire rear apron. Gulf Orange extends to the painted center portion of the carbon front lid and roof, as well as the side mirrors and rear wing tips. The contrast is most definitely present. This example joins an incredible collection of Gulf Blue cars, including a very highly optioned 911 R and two of the only 918 Spyders in the world with the Gulf livery applied originally from the factory with Gulf Oil’s permission. Many thanks to one of our avid Canadian readers for the exclusive photos of this car, including the first three which have been provided by the owner. What are your thoughts on this example? #PTSRS
