While we sit here, thinking about how Porsche only built 2,000 units of the Boxster Spyder, somebody out there has already gotten bored of the experience this Zuffenhausen machine delivers.
As a result, the Spyder showed up for sale. Of course, the question that follows such info has to do with the mileage of the open-top special and we'll mention this mid-engined delight has a mere 3,585 miles on its odo.

The sports devil comes dressed in Guards Red, with the eye candy hue also being used for the cabin trim, as you can see in the pic above.

The Carrera S-engined Boxster is offered for $101,910, having shown up at Porsche Exchange, a social media-savvy dealer in Illinois. Now, to evaluate the price of this thrill machine, we have to take into account its $83,005 MSRP. Anybody willing to pay a 30 grand premium over the price of a standard Boxster (we're talking about the naturally aspirated predecessor of the 718 we get nowadays) should be happy with a find such as the one seen here.

As for the optional extras, this Boxster Spyder packs a respectable amount of goodies. Our favorite features have to be the 18-Way Adaptive Sport Seats, the Reversing Camera, as well as the leather-clad backrest shells.

Remember the roof of the old Porsche Boxster Spyder? Forget it!

Perhaps the biggest asset of this machine is that German engineers have helped it overcome the awkward top of the first Boxster Spyder, which took ages to install and only delivered partial protection.

Sure, the roof of the second-generation Boxster Spyder is not as simple as that of the "standard" Boxsters, but the effect of the elements can be kept at bay after 30 seconds, while having the canvas over your head won't prevent you from hitting the 180 mph maximum velocity of the elegant animal.
