What's manlier than a G-Class? A G-Class to the second power. If you want something that's too extreme for Kim Kardashian and the rest of the Hollywood world, the G500 4×4² offers the right set of characteristics.
Some say that it's just a diluted version of the G63 AMG 6x6 with a smaller engine and two fewer wheels. However, unless you are a Dubai sheikh or Russian oligarch, that monster is too absurd.

To give you a small sample of what it would be like to witness the G500 4×4² going down the road, we give you this short spy video filmed near one of Mercedes' test facilities in Stuttgart. This model has already been revealed, but engineers are still testing it to ensure the world's super-rich get the reliability they demand.

The engine they installed under the bonnet has never been used before in a G-Class or any SUV for that matter. It's the twin-turbo 4-liter V8 used by the new C63 and bespoke AMG GT sportscar.

We're talking about 422 HP (310 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft). This is sent out through a set of 22-inch off-road wheels wrapped in chunky off-road tires.

Mind you, this Goliath of the dirt road is well out of the reach of regular mortals. In Germany, prices start at €226,100, making this the second most expensive G-Class ever made. We could compare it to the S65 AMG in this regard. While the small V8 is nowhere near as exotic as the V12, the suspension magic makes up for this.
