UPDATE: Green Ferrari 488 Pista Spider Looks Like No Other, Spotted at LAX

We've been discussing the Ferrari 488 Pista heavily these days - while the Prancing Horse has introduced the F8 Tributo 488 replacement and the thousand-horsepower SF90 Stradale, none of the two has reached its customers yet. Instead, this is the season that sees the standout Pista specs landing in the garages of their owners.

And while we've featured plenty of configurations for the Italian exotic, none of them stood out like the one that brought us here.

This Prancing Horse was spotted at the Los Angeles International Airport, so it's probably sitting in a garage as you are reading this.

Of course, with a spec like this, one certainly needs more than a driveway, since the main hue of the car will split opinions like few other color.

Speaking of which, I'm not aware of the shade's actual name, so if you think you know how the specialists over at Ferrari Tailor Made call this type of green, feel welcome to share it with us in the comments section below.

Given the extrovert color choice, the one who configured this 720 horsepower animal steered clear of adding options with an extreme visual impact. And perhaps the best illustration of this comes from the wheels, which are as conservative as they get on such a track special.

For the record, we've talked about plenty of 488 Pistas that pack the carbon wheels and here's a recent example for you. Of course, the matte paint of this unit might just stand out more than its wheels.

Nevertheless, it does seem like this example of the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider comes with a dark approach for the specific stripes adorning the top section of the car, even though this image makes it difficult to notice that.

Truth be told, Green Maranello machines are turning into a trend these days...

Update:As our reader ryalex pointed out in the comments below, this seems to be a hue that Ferrari's Tailor Made department pulled out of the retro had, namely Verde Germolio.

And you can now enjoy the full eye candy delivered by this Pista Spider in the clip at the bottom of the page.
