This one-of-a-kind real-life version of every GTA player's favorite ride is now up for grabs on eBay. Even though it's been 13 years since the car was first featured in Grand Theft Auto III, you can now make the Banshee Bravado yours if you have a spare $170,000 lying in your bank account.
The getaway car from the opening moments of GTA III has been built by the talented guys from West Coast Customs in 2013, being based on a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe. The 8.3-liter V10 mill shoehorned under the long louvered bonnet produces 510 horsepower and 525 lb-ft (711 Nm) of torque.
Just like the standard third-generation Viper, the Banshee sports a double-bubble roof. But that's where standard features end and WCC's work comes into play. Every exterior panel has been redesigned to match the look of the virtual two-seater sports car with state-of-the-art computer-aided modeling technology.
Molds were cut and machined piece-by-piece before laying out the new exterior panels by hand for an extremely accurate reproduction of the Bravado Banshee. This custom ride also benefits from a set of unique design Forgiato alloy wheels, a sound system guaranteed to make your ears bleed and a handcrafted interior featuring carbon fiber inlays and bucket seats embroidered with the Banshee name and insignia.
According to the eBay ad, seller 2zcreek says she "was the lucky winner of the 2013 GTAV Bravado Banshee from the PowerUp GameStop Epic Rewards Giveaway." Yes, you heard that right - the seller is a girl. "However, as a fixed income mom with two boys getting ready to head to college, I need the money more than a race car (even though it is fun to drive!)," 2zcreek further reveals in the ad's description.
