Grand Theft Auto 5 In First Person View Looks Quite Amazing

As you probably know, along with the rise of next-gen consoles, Grand Theft Auto 5 got revamped adding higher resolution textures, some new vehicles, more multiplayer features, guns, denser foliage and traffic, enhanced damage and weather effects, additional wildlife and something that was never tried before in the series - a first person view.
The reasons a first person camera was not introduced so far are obvious, starting with the fact that the first two games in the series were 2D and ending up with the latest titles that were looking awesome from a distance but a close-up would have been a disaster.

I remember playing GTA San Andreas (which was looking pretty damn good at the time) and there was a view while driving that allowed you to aim the gun to the right and do a drive-by, the whole thing being first person. Well, it was awful as every texture inside the car was like DOOM 2 and the gun model was not that detailed from up close.

Not anymore now that GTA V rolls on powerful hardware and looks good even from up close. If you haven’t bought the game yet, here’s a glimpse on how it feels playing through the eyes of your character. Oh, and it also works when you pick up hookers and take them to a secluded area.

Makes for a pretty good argument to buy the game again for PS4 or Xbox One. Too bad you still can’t highjack those trains...
