Grand Bentley New Teaser, First Glimpse

We continue our journey towards the discovery of the new Grand Bentley, courtesy of the British manufacturer and their latest teaser from the nine episode mini series, namely the "It's a rare event and a privilege" episode.

For the first time, a glimpse at the Grand Bentley is possible thanks to the sketch drawn by Dirk van Braeckel, Bentley director of design and concepts.

"Given the challenge of creating the all-new grand Bentley, the design team at Crewe set out to combine classic Bentley shapes, details and proportions with a forward-looking design.((It’s truly a work of art, made by individuals for individuals," he said.

Last week, Bentley let slip through one of the videos released the first technical specs of the Grand Bentley. Somewhere in the "Fusion of Extremes" video, two magic numbers appear: over 900 Nm of torque at around 1,800 rpm.

Teasers and additional details of the new Grand Bentley are poised to be released with increased frequency the following weeks, as we approach August 15, the date when the car will be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in Monterey, California.

Four other short episodes remain, namely "It's never been done. Let's do it!", "Color is personal, just like a Bentley," "There was no benchmark" and "The spirit of British motoring lives on". What we hope for is that the Grand Bentley is at least half as good as the campaign the manufacturer dreamt up for its introduction.
