Grand Bentley Debut at Pebble Beach

British manufacturer Bentley continue their on-going Grand Bentley saga and today revealed, through yet another couple of teaser videos, the time and place were the Grand will be unveiled: Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in Monterey, California, on August 16.

For the first time, Bentley has also revealed some of the features, or should we say traits of the new Grand. According to the release, the new Grand Bentley "captures the 1920s ‘grand touring’ spirit of the Bentley Boys, delivering the effortless driving, exclusivity and adventure desired by the real motoring enthusiast."

"A unique fusion of elegant design, hand craftsmanship and technological innovation, the new model embodies the potent yet luxuriously refined driving experience that is pure Bentley," the company says.

This is the fourth video of a nine episode mini series set up by Bentley to tease the car. Four other videos are tagged as "coming soon" on Grand Bentley's new website. They are called "It's never been done. Let's do it!", "It's a rare event and a privilege," "Color is personal, just like a Bentley," "There was no benchmark" and "The spirit of British motoring lives on".

The two videos you can see below are called "W.O. Bentley's dream is coming alive" and "It will be a fusion of extremes." Try as you might, they still don't do much to satisfy our need for information. Except perhaps the over 900 Nm of torque at around 1,800 rpm seen in the "Fusion of Extremes" video...

So what's left to do is to wait for the release of the other four videos, to get a better idea on this "fusion of extremes".
