The monthly Gran Turismo 7 update, previously teased by developers, brings three new cars, but also a new track and a bunch of tweaks to the Café. Before we deep-dive into what’s coming to Gran Turismo 7 this month, it’s important to mention that this content update won’t be live until tomorrow, June 23.

That said, here are the three new cars coming to the game on June 23: 1932 Ford Roadster, Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98, and Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3 Version). Another important addition to the game is the new Watkins Glen International track.

With a total length of 5,4 km (3.37 miles), an elevation change of 41 meters (134.5 feet), and 11 corners, Watkins Glen International is situated 418 km (260 miles) northwest of New York City, nearly in the center of the New York state.

It’s been opened back 1956 and is among the most historic tracks in the United States. Gran Turismo 7 players will be able to choose between two different layouts: Watkins Glen Long Course and Watkins Glen Short Course.

The difference between the Long Course and Short Course is the “Boot” that isn’t part of the shorter track. The “Boot” is one of the main highlights of the track, it’s a section that goes from the back straight through the chicane to the banked right-hand Outer Loop.

Alongside the new cars and track, the June update also brings some Extra Menus that have been added to the Café. They should offer new collection tasks based on a wide range of themes and, of course, they’re open to all players who made it to the end of the game and with a Collector Level of a certain level.

  • Collection: Toyota 86 opens at Collector Level 20
  • Collection: Honda Type R' opens at Collector Level 20
  • Collection: Rotary Engine opens at Collector Level 32

Last but not least, the Watkins Glen International track has been added as a featured Curation in Scapes.
