If you like minimalist, futuristic and even spartan looks for your electric commuter, then the new GiGi concept from Govecs might draw massive interest. This new two-wheeler looks like a Lego-themed ride and will not pass unnoticed in the city.
Anyway, we know that Govecs is delivering such intriguing designs every now and then, so its presence is not exactly a big surprise. GiGi only caters to basic transport needs, so if you expect generous storage from it you'll be disappointed.
On the other hand, if being able to streak through slow traffic and access areas that are closed to petrol engine-powered vehicles are top priorities for you, the Govecs GiGi is yet another interesting choice.
With diminutive 8" wheels, taller guys might look a bit funny riding the GiGi, but the beefy tires should provide great traction on the city asphalt. The scoot can be had with either 400W or 600W lithium-ion battery packs, and the range varies between 30 and 40 km (18-25 miles), respectively per charge.
GiGi can reach 25 km/h (15.5 mph) but it looks like a rider can overdrive it to do 35 km/h (22 mph). Weighing 30 kg (66 lbs) and taking 4 hours to recharge, the Govecs GiGi can wait you with fresh batteries as you leave work.
And if you have a backpack, you can also do some shopping, too, on your way home. No price was so far announced for this funny, neat e-scoot.

The tech specs may look modest, but are just fine for commuting
The Govecs GiGi is powered by a 500W brushless motor that can produce 15Nm (11 lb-ft of torque). Some spec sheets say that its power is one hp but we guess there is a mistake somewhere. With diminutive 8" wheels, taller guys might look a bit funny riding the GiGi, but the beefy tires should provide great traction on the city asphalt.
