There is no word on whether the German Govecs scooters will have a mass-production snow version or a conversion kit, but that would simply rock. So far, there is only this prototype, loaded with a studded motocross rear tire and a Riminimoto ski instead of the fork and front wheel.
Once you get how things work when riding in the snow, the Govecs Go! S2.4 should be awesome fun with its massive 54 Nm (40 lbs-ft) torque. While the street version can reach 45 km/h (28 mph), the snow prototype will definitely be a tad slower, though not too much.
The 3kWh battery can be recharged in 4-5 hours and regenerative braking should help it last longer, even with the front brake missing. Can you imagine riding this scooter during winter?
