Posaidon, a German tuning specialist, has unveiled a tuning kit for the Mercedes-AMG E63.  Since the E-Class has received a new generation this year, and the next E63 is not yet unveiled, the tuners made a kit for the previous Mercedes-AMG E63.
While not having the latest look, it does come with a massive 1,020 HP and 1,400 Nm (1,033 lb-Ft). The tuners claim this is the most powerful street-legal Mercedes-Benz ever made.

It all began with the 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine, which received a full overhaul. New internal components were fitted, and a bigger set of turbochargers was added. The more sturdy engine received a remapped ECU to take full advantage of the changes that were applied.

Since output and torque increased by extreme levels, the gearbox had to be modified, and it received reworked components, which are meant to handle the 1,400 Nm of torque.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is achieved in just 2.8 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 368 km/h (218 mph). The tuning company explained that the tires of the Mercedes-AMG E63 cannot withstand a higher top speed, and that the value is sufficient as is.

The all-wheel-drive performance sedan also received a carbon-ceramic braking kit, which features 16.5-inch (420 millimeters) discs for the front axle, and 14.2-inch (360-millimeter) discs for the rear axle. The front brake calipers feature six pistons, while the rears have four.

The tuners at Posaidon have not stopped here, as they removed the back seat of the E63 to save weight. Moreover, the front seats were replaced with lighter ones from a C63 AMG Black Series. The body was also lightened with a set of carbon fiber components, including a set of bumpers, mirror caps, hood, and rear diffuser. The final weight has not been mentioned.
