Gold Ferrari 458 Spider Hits London

What would you do with your money if you were super-rich and didn’t care about what others think? Would you hide it away from the world or would you flaunt it about with an expensive and in-your-face car? Could you accept the gazes you get in the street while driving a huge piece of automotive overkill?
As Shmee150 points out in the clip, this Ferrari 458 Spider, a make we tested ourselves last year, used to be a nice, quiet shade of gray. That is, before the owner decided to take it to a wrapping company so they could turn it a bright chrome gold tint. If that doesn’t liven up London nothing will!

Now, chrome wrap is very hard to do because unlike other types of vinyl it doesn’t stretch very much. The head gun used to shrink it also creates warping. So even though the Ferrari has a few blemishes, we wouldn’t call this a badly done wrap.

They say the world is built for two and that’s exactly how many people fit into the edo stroking Ferrari 458 Spider, that is, unless you follow the fad and try to squeeze somebody into the front trunk. We wonder though if this trend for chroming cars will ever get old.
