Sometimes, having a standard golf car to carry your posh golf clubs around the court is not enough to show that your are also a car guy besides loving to pocket balls on a green field.
And this is the part where specialized golf car customizers like our friends over at Custom Golf Cars UK step into the scene to help you with the style.
Their latest project involved the transformation of two regular electric golf cars into mini Toyota FJ Cruisers that will be used as football stadium ambulances for the Saudi Arabia Football Federation, which is sponsored by the Saudi Toyota distributor.
The quiet 36 Volt electric vehicles started as pre-owned standard EZGO fleet golf cars when they reached Custom Golf Cars’ shop. There, the mechanics ditched the standard suspension and wheels replacing them with and upgraded lifted suspension and beefed-up tires to make them look like miniature 4x4s. Then, the designers and factory added replica moldings excellently copied from the real Toyota FJ Cruiser’s front end.
The rear end of the golf cars was left as standard and stretcher carriers were added, enabling the mini FJs to get on the pitch and recover injured players. Check them out in these photos bellow, taken just before they were loaded into their containers and sent to the UAE.
