In case you were wondering what cars are God's men driving in various parts of the world, here's one for you: a BMW E65 7 Series. And since it's a 7er, let's make it a 760Li, shall we? Yeah, that sounds good.
You'd think that according to what the Bible says, bishops, priests and men of the Church in general, would be more pious and modest but in Eastern Europe things are a bit different.

We just got word that the Moldavian archbishop (or metropolite, however you'd like to call it) is selling his 760Li. According to autostrada.md, the high-ranking official received this car as a donation from a business man in 2006 and has been using it for the last 7 years.

At first, we thought that the money he'll be getting from the sale would be used for charity but reading on, we found out that he's looking to upgrade, as the 2004 car is getting old and will need some spare parts and servicing and the cool factor's just not the same anymore since there's a new model available.

One can only wonder if he'll be going for a 2013 LCI F01 7 Series and, if so, will he be more humble or still go for the top of the line 760Li model? Will he think about the environment and go for an ActiveHybrid7?

Also, we're kind of curious if the religious people that donate for his church every month find this to be a matter of pride or just a vice. After all, a man of God deserves the best car, right?

However, judging by the starting prices of a 760Li in Moldova, (it's a small country in Eastern Europe) that go around EUR160,000, we think Vladimir will have to find another wealthy businessman that needs some serious praying, in order to support his pricy taste in cars.

Either way, in case you're around Moldova and want a cheap 760Li that's been hardly used and covered with piety and prayers, he's the man to call. Who knows, maybe you'll even find one of those heavy gold crucifixes he likes to wear, lost under the back seat or something, and get your money back.
