Forza Horizon is almost exactly one month away, as it is due for release on October 23rd. In order to get people talking as it is coming out, developer Turn 10 Studios has released a video, in which people who participated in the development of the game get to tell us just how passionate about racing games and cars in general they really are.
The fifth installment in the highly-popular series will be a significant departure from the closed track racing its fans have gotten used to, being similar in concept Test Drive Unlimited, with a pinch of Need For Speed: Pro Street. The developers are very pleased with the open world nature of the game, claiming that you can go ‘anywhere’.
Another addition they deem very important is the day-night cycle which will make for some very different experiences, compared to regular day racing. They also boast about their extreme attention to detail, explaining that at night, cars with xenon headlamps will offer better visibility than those fitted with regular halogens.
