There are may tuning companies who think they can do better with a 911 and one of them is called Global Motorsport Group.

What GMG did was tune the GT3, but they're smarter than your average because they didn't touch the engine. The engine was a brilliant thing as stock and it offered enough HP, so that explains their attitude towards it.

The did, however, improve the suspension, saved weight, added new wings, fenders, mirrors all made from carbon fiber. They've also fitted the GT3 with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires on massive 19-inch BBS wheels. The new “barbarian” exhaust and reprogrammed software will most likely shave lots of seconds of your lap time. The brakes remained stock, and the paintwork has not been touched. Instead, they've created custom GMG graphics and special wheels called Champion Motorsport Magnesium.

Porsche offers good cars as stock and the 911 makes no exception. They worked and worked to make it one of the best and finally, they succeeded. Even though the engine is in the wrong place, the ignition is on the left side, it looks like a frog being squashed and it's granddad was the VW Beetle, the 911 represents 40 years of innovation and improvement over the standard 1960s model.

A while ago, a company called 9ff announced the creation of a Porsche 911 that would hit 412 km/h and would develop 1120 hp. Another company that tried to improve the 911 was TechArt who made an aerodynamic kit for the car to increase its stability at high speeds.

So why are other companies struggling? We think it's because the 911 is a great platform for motorsports.
