The 2015 GMC Sierra full-size pickup truck, the mechanically identical cousin of the Chevrolet Silverado, is getting a smokin' cool visual pack. Just like the Silverado Rally Edition and Sierra Carbon Edition, the recently unveiled 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation is one very good-looking truck.
Although pricing hasn't been announced yet, GMC informs that the Elevation is going to hit dealers by the end of 2014, which is nice. So what's in store and is it any good? Well, yes. Pretty much any full-size pickup buyer tends to customize a truck right after delivery, so a factory visual package is more than welcomed on a model such as the Sierra light-duty.

Available only with the 1500 light-duty variant of the truck, the Sierra Elevation Edition comes in double-cab guise. Customers can opt between two or four-wheel drive, as well as between the 4.3-liter V6 mill with 285 horsepower on tap or the 355 horsepower 5.3-liter vee eight.

The 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition double-cab boasts with a body-colored front grille surround, as well as color-keyed door handles, mirror caps, side moldings and front and rear bumpers designed for a sporty monochromatic appearance. Headlamps with distinctive LED daytime running lights are also on the menu, along with black 20-inch aluminum alloys.

In standard, the Elevation sport truck is equipped with remote keyless entry, power mirrors, a 110-volt AC power outlet and LED illumination for the cargo box. The OnStar 4G LTE connectivity system with Wi-Fi is in there as well to keep you connected to the world wide web. Last but not least, a 4.2-inch Intellilink touchscreen audio system and Bluetooth phone connectivity round off the package nicely.
