General Motors has stopped the sale of 60,000 vehicles due an issue with the OnStar system. We are talking about a software glitch that doesn’t allow drivers to alert OnStar when a crash in which the airbag is not deployed takes place.
The list of vehicles affected by this includes the 2013 Chevrolet Volt, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain, 2012 Cadillac SRX, Cadillac ATS, Cadillac XTS, as well as the 2013 Buick Verano.

The majority of the affected cars on delaers lots should have the problem solved by the middle of the current week. GM will also fix other cars by using a remote update for OnStar - the company will reprogram the Sensing Diagnostic Module that controls the airbag system. However, the vehicles will not be the subject of a recall.
