If you're in the market for a full-size SUV but don't want to go all out with buying a posh Cadillac Escalade, the General Motors stable has five other options for you from Chevrolet and GMC. For the 2015 interim MY, all five of them have been updated.
Compared to the 2015 model year, 2015i adds a suite of handy features and one notable deletion. Starting with the latter, General Motors stopped offering E85 capability for retail orders. Nevertheless, the additions more than make up for that minor deletion.

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the GMC Yukon, XL and Denali from the 2015 interim model year boast with standard OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot and a 3-GB/3-month trial for the mid-range LT and top-spec LTZ trim levels.

LTZ specification and LT with Luxury Package vehicles come with General Motors' wireless charging feature for smartphones and a hands-free power liftgate too. Other notable updates that are offered as standard on LT and LTZ trim levels are Siri Eyes Free and Text Message Alerts, which will keep the tech-savvy happy.

Brownstone Metallic is the only addition to the exterior hues list. Last but not least, 4WD LT models can be kitted with a Z71 Off-Road Package, while LT and LTZ vehicles can be beautified by opting for the Texas Edition option. As a final add-on, MyLink with Navigation is now a standard feature on LTZ models.

Mind you, there's one big absentee from the 2015i list of updates - the Hydra-Matic 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission, which the 2015 Cadillac Escalade already has. C'mon GM, this is such a bummer.
