There’s no shortage of offers for people in the market for Camaros of the good old days. At any given time, on any given website, there are a bunch of them just sitting around looking pretty while waiting for their next owner. From time to time though, one stands out from the pack.
Like the 1973 one pictured in the gallery above. The car is currently for sale on the Classic Cars website for $34,950. Not much less nor much more than what others are asking for their Camaros from the same era, but this one does stick out from the crowd like a pesky bumblebee that keeps circling you because it sensed sugar on you fingers.
To blame for that is mainly the choice of colors, which combines the overall gloss yellow of the body with black on the rear end, on its top, and on the front bumper spoiler. And some chrome on the front bumper, badges, door handles, and so on, and you have a pretty good picture of what this thing is all about.
Behind the black grille with a red Z28 badge a huge 7.4-liter engine is hidden, with its eight cylinders placed in a V configuration and linked to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine pumps out 500 hp, more than enough to get you where you’re going with a bang.
The interior of this particular Camaro is close to stock, wrapped in black leather and adorned with chrome on some of the cabin’s elements. The car is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering and aftermarket wheels.
As you might have guessed, this particular look of the car is not the one it came rolling off assembly lines with - this is a full restoration that sells, as said, for $34,950. There’s no mention of the car’s mileage in the advert.
