James Glickenhaus has released preliminary details on his new car project, the SCG003. Unlike the P4/5 and P4/5 Competizione, the new vehicle will be built from the ground up and fitted with a twin-turbo V6 powerplant.
The SCG003 will feature a carbon fiber chassis designed by GranStudio, a firm founded by former Pininfarina designer Lowie Vermeersch, while the aerodynamic development will fall in the hands of Paolo Catone, an engineer with thorough F1 and Prototype racing experience.
The new vehicle will be introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and raced at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring the same year.
"This type of project is any designer's dream. Not only it is an exciting project that allows to design a car inside out, but it also offers this rare and beautiful condition in which you develop a full car with just a small team of passionate experts that fit together in a room," said Lowie Vermeersch.
